Kim Laufenburger

Kim Laufenburger joined the Nueva Esperanza Board of Directors in 2025. She serves as the Executive Director of Operations at Hope Church in Richfield, Minnesota where she helped lead a major building project completed in 2022. As part of the church’s commitment to global ministry, a portion of the campaign was tithed to Nueva Esperanza. Kim visited the ministry in 2024 and was deeply inspired by its vision and by the shared experiences of Christians serving in different parts of the world.

With her husband David, Kim previously directed a church camp for 18 years, reflecting their passion for seeing the next generation discipled and transformed by God’s work. Together, they have three young adult children.
