Elizabeth Lopez
Elizabeth Lovejoy was born and raised in North Kingsville, Ohio. After graduating from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with two degrees in Education, she applied to work in a bilingual school in Honduras in 2013. She worked at this school for three years before she started to consider other ministry opportunities. Elizabeth first heard about Nueva Esperanza when Carlos and Barbara came to her home church in Ohio in 2012 to speak about their ministry. During her teaching time at the bilingual school, Elizabeth got involved with the ministry and later talked to Barbara about joining Nueva Esperanza. In January 2017, Elizabeth started working as the Child Sponsorship Coordinator. She is also responsible for talking to students with behavior problems and tutoring kindergarten students.
