  • Promote the need for work teams from the USA
  • Communicate with potential work team leaders
  • Coordinate with management the scheduling and planning of work teams
  • Make all in-country arrangement for teams including work projects, housing, food, and transportation needs

Nurse

  • Provide ongoing immediate care for sickness/accidents

Nueva Esperanza Director of Building and Grounds

Job Description

Reports to:  Administrator

  • Oversee maintenance and construction employees
  • Assure proper building and equipment maintenance
  • Maintain ministry vehicles
  • Report major maintenance projects to administrator to allow for proper financial planning
  • Assume primary purchasing role for food and supplies
  • Maintain proper and orderly records
  • Any other duties as assigned by management




  • Nueva Esperanza Daycare Director

    Oversee the day to day operations of the daycare. Work along side the teacher supervisor in all aspects pertaining to the educational components of the ministry.
    Reports to:      Administrator

      • Directly oversee teacher supervisor & kitchen, daycare office, and janitorial staff
      • Encourage and supervise daycare volunteers by providing meaningful opportunities to serve
      • Review performance evaluations and report findings to management
      • Control attendance of employees (absences & tardiness)
      • Carry out objectives & instructions of management
      • Plan, assign & schedule work
      • Schedule to assure that teacher supervisor or director is present during all operating hours
      • Oversee spending and work within the budget
      • Maintain proper and orderly records
      • Assure purchasing of food and supplies takes place in an efficient manner
      • Promote teamwork & cooperation
      • Listen to employee problems
      • Teach and promote proper care for equipment & supplies
      • Assist in the hiring process with management

      Nueva Esperanza Child Sponsorship Coordinator

      Job Description

      Reports to:  Administrator

      • Handle all communication with sponsors
      • Prepare and send an annual portfolio update packet to each sponsor
      • Annually interview mothers to update family information
      • Collect and update personal information from each child
      • Track with children need sponsors
      • Photograph children regularly and provide updates via email to sponsors
      • Communicate sizes and needs of children to sponsors when asked
      • Update financial database monthly with sponsorship giving
      • Send sponsor reminder letters when they fall behind
      • Conduct new sponsor orientations
      • Coordinate gift giving and send thank you to sponsor along with a picture of the event
      • Shop for gifts for the children when money is received from sponsor
      • Explore new areas to promote child sponsorships
      • Any other duties as assigned by management
